A '''Shadow Vermin''' is an enemy [[Link]] encounters in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]''. They are small, black creatures that can move on land and on water. Link first fights them on his way to [[Zelda|Princess Zelda]] in the [[Castle Town Sewers]]. They make further appearances whenever Link is in the [[Twilight]], and in the [[Palace of Twilight]]. They are easily defeated with an attack from [[Wolf Link]] or a sword slash from [[Hylian]] Link. They're fairly annoying, and are not that much of a threat by themselves. However, groups of them can be quite difficult, so [[Spin Attack]]s are the best method of attack.
