Link will obtain the [[Tuni Nut]] in the [[Past]] Symmetry Village which he is asked to get repaired. He must take this to Patch, who will ask Link to participate in a cart mini-game that he mistakenly refers to as a trap, but covers it up by calling it a ceremony. Once Link completes the mini-game, Patch will restore the Tuni Nut. He must then take it back to Symmetry Village (past), which will stop the erupting volcano and thus restore the present-day Symmetry Village to an undestroyed, balanced town. The volcano will then become a waterfall, which is actually revealed to be the location of the fourth dungeon in Link's adventure, the [[Skull Dungeon]].

As part of the [[Trading Sequence]], Link can bring the [[Broken Sword]] to Patch in order to get it repaired. The process is identical to the Tuni Nut. Once repaired, this will complete the Trading Sequence and Link will be awarded with the [[Noble Sword]].
