Veran: Difference between revisions

The second battle with Veran will take place in the [[Black Tower]]. She is the final boss of the game, and there will be a few stages before she is defeated. In the first stage, you must repeat the first battle you had with her: shoot mystery seeds at her while she charges an attack, separate her from [[Queen Ambi]] with the [[Long Hook]], and then hit her with your sword. Be aware that she will be sending spiders after you this time. Again, this stage will end after three hits. She will now transform into a fairy-like creature who will fly in and out of the screen. To fight her you have to charge a spin attack and hit her with it as she flies across the screen. There will also be several figures that resemble [[Dark Link]] that you can kill for recovery hearts. After defeating this form of Veran, you will witness a short cutscene before moving on to her final few forms. At this point, the battle will become much less straightforward as Veran will move randomly through several different forms. One is a turtle, which will try to jump on you. You can avoid this by jumping out of the way and then slashing at her head when it pops out. Another form is a spider that attacks you by running into you or shooting a web at you, which you must hit in the face with a [[Bomb|bomb]] before attacking with your sword. Her other form is a giant bee, which will fly in a figure eight formation around the room and occasionally attack you by shooting stingers vertically across the room or sending smaller bees at you. Simply attack this form using your sword. After many, many hits, Veran will be defeated.
