Daira wield large axes and will try to harm Zelda with them. There are two types of Daira, ones that are stationary, and others that run. The walking Daira are fairly simple enemies as they will walk straight towards Zelda, trying to smash her with their axe. You can defeat a Daira with a sword slash while standing straight up or while kneeling. Stationary Daira on the other hand stand in one spot instead of moving towards Zelda. Rather than swinging their axe, this Daira variant will toss the axe towards Zelda. Furthermore if Zelda is at a higher level, the axe will be tossed in an upward direction. One way to defend against the axe throw is to stand still and block it with your shield. If you are quick enough to react, you can jump over the axe that is tossed your way. | |||
