Link must travel here in order to learn Saria's Song, because Saria likes to come here and play it. As a child the maze is guarded by many Red [[Deku Scrubs]] and a single [[Wolfos]] at the entrance. After Link gets past these enemies and goes up the long stairs, he enters into the entrance into the Forest Temple. In the middle is the Forest platform and in the corner is a tree stump where Saria sits. Up ahead and out of child Link's reach is the broken entrance to the Forest Temple.
