First, find and open the chest ([[Great Frostblade]]; Long Throw) by retrieving it with Magnesis.
Before doing anything else in the shrine, look around and you'll find a treasure chest in a small cubby hole. Use [[Magnesis]] to retrieve it and then open it to get a [[Great Frostblade]].


Now the goal is to be standing on the glowing portion of the platform right next to the entrance when the orb reaches the socket. This will lift you up and you can head to the altar.
There is an [[Ancient Orb]] in the room and the goal is to get it in the hole at the center of the shrine. The trick is to do this, while standing on the platform near the entrance of the shrine, as it will then raise, allowing Link to reach the higher floor. There are two ways to do this.


<b>Easy Way:</b> If you have a lot of stamina, you can grab the orb and throw it up to the platform with the slot. Climb up the platform, grab the orb, and throw it up the final hill. Make sure that it doesn't get hit by the wind.  Use Stasis to stop the orb and run up to the platform and wait for the orb to roll into place.
<b>Easy Way:</b> If you have a lot of stamina, you can grab the orb and throw it up to the platform where the ball needs to end up. Drop the ball and then quickly use [[Stasis]] on it to freeze. Then run over to the entrance of the shrine and step onto the platform.


<b>Other Way:</b> If you're good at timing things, you can release the orb to go around the course. Keep in mind that there is a moving platform and the orb can't be placed in the center or against the wall of the course or it will fly over the edge, not roll down the hill.
<b>Hard Way:</b> If you stand near the entrance, there are a series of wind geysers on the walls that can blow the orb around the room. There are a few obstacles in the way preventing the ball from reaching the whole. At the end of the pathway, the wind will blow the orb completely off the ramp. Use Magnesis to find there is a hidden wall that can be pulled put. Then, use Magnesis to grab the Metal Block that is in the room and set it right on top of the wall that was just pulled out. This creates a barrier, preventing the orb from falling off the ramp.


<b>The Way it was probably intended:</b> There is that metal block that is seemingly useless that is standing in the way of the first fan. Move it to unblock the fan then point your magnesis at the wall next to the last ramp and you will see part of it glow, use your magnesis to pull it out of the wall then put the block on top of the new shelf and this way you only have to worry about timing not placement. It will keep the ball from flying right past that last ramp.
Next, grab the ball and head up to the entrance of the shrine. There is a moving platform in the room, so you'll have to time when you drop the ball. The perfect timing to release the ball down the first ramp is when the moving platform is moving towards the wall and is a little more than halfway. If timed properly, the ball will move around the room and cross the moving platform while it is against the wall. The ball will fall into the hole, sending the platform up to the second floor.


Either way, solve the puzzle and head to the altar for your [[Spirit Orb]].
