Note on the Table (Dronoc's Pass Well)

Note on the Table is an object from Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

The note is one of the many Notes on the Table found throughout Hyrule. It is located on a table within the Dronoc's Pass Well, found just northwest of Rito Village.

Written by Chef Aurie Taamu, the note talks about how if Link eats or drinks a meal or elixir that has an effect, that effect will be erased if Link consumes a second meal or elixir with a different effect.

This bitter cold is making my eyes glaze over... I fear my time is almost up.

Faced with this frigid onslaught, I wolfed down some sautéed peppers to ward off the cold and downed them with a drink.

But suddenly, a chill came over me. "Strange," I thought, "I'm fairly certain sautéed peppers are cold-resistant..."

Then I looked at the bottle I held in my hand—a cooling elixir. I'd just taken a swig of a heat-resistance beverage.

It seems that if you eat a second dish while the effect of the first dish is active, the original effect is lost.

Failure is the amuse-bouche of learning, and I, Chef Aurie Taamu, have eaten my share.

My journey to culinary mastery continues. -Chef Aurie Taamu, Fearless of Failure
