Livo is a character from Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Livo is a member of the Zonai Survey Team and can be found at the Gerudo Canyon Pass. He can be found investigating the ruins, but warns Link that the area is subject to extreme temperatures. It is bitterly cold at nightime, while also very very hot during the daytime in the sun. This only allows the Zonai Survey Team to work for a few hours at a time.[1] Livo is a big fan of Fenlin's cooking, who can be found on the Digdogg Suspension Bridge just to the north.[2]

Late in the evening, at midnight, Livo will return to his tent, where he goes to sleep for the night.[3] He then wakes up at 7am each morning to get back to work. On days when it is raining during the daytime, Livo actually likes it. It keeps things cool, although he claims that when things are soaked, it's harder to spot details.[4]

  1. "Good evening. It's dark out, so mind where you're walking. Are you here to help us with our investigation of these ruins? Thanks to the extreme temperatures around here, we're only able to work a little bit at a time. The nights are so cold that, without a fire, you'd freeze solid! And the days... Just so, so hot... Really, the only thing to look forward to is Fenlin's cooking. Her meals fill me up with enough energy to forget about the temperature! It must be some kind of secret recipe." — Livo, Tears of the Kingdom
  2. "Brr... It's so cold... If I don't keep myself warm, I'm gonna freeze solid! Hmph. I could go for some of Fenlin's cooking right now." — Livo, Tears of the Kingdom
  3. "Make sure you rest up so your mind and body are ready for whatever the next day might hold. The temperature will get you if you aren't careful..." — Livo, Tears of the Kingdom
  4. "Even when the sun is high in the sky, a good rainstorm makes it possible to get work done. It's time to investigate our very hearts out! Or it would be, but now that everything is soaked, it's a bit harder to spot details..." — Livo, Tears of the Kingdom
