Acorns are best found on the Great Sky Island. They commonly fall when Link cuts down trees. Warp to the Ukouh Shrine and glide to the southwest. Link can find a few Stone Axes sitting around, which are effective in cutting trees down. Generally, for every 4-5 trees that Link chops down, he'll find an Acorn.

Further south on the Great Sky Island, just north of the lake from In-isa Shrine, there are tons of trees, as well as a Stone Two-Handed Axe. There are plenty of oppurtunities for gathering a few Acorns.

Alternatively, if Link sees a Bushy-Tailed Squirrel, he can shoot it with an Arrow and it will drop an Acorn. However, Squirrels are skittish and will run off quickly when approached. Their appearance is fairly common in forests, such as the Retsam Forest, but they will scatter quickly if Link makes too much noise.

Acorns are used as path markers in South Lomei Labyrinth
