Barin is a character found in Tears of the Kingdom.

When Link first arrives at the Bedrock Bistro, Barin can be seen eating Marbled Rock Roast. Although he recently heard that they are sold out of marbled rock roast and hopes that the miners of YunoboCo would dig up some more.[1] His younger brother immediately chimes in to remind Barin that it is in fact Barin's job to dig up marbled rock roast.[2] Barin seems to ignore Tule's comments, simply responding by saying once he is done with the marbled rock roast he is eating, he is going to travel to Goron City to get more. He tells Tule to go gather the rupees.[3] His younger brother seems helpless to do anything about Barin, explaining that his dream was to work for YunoboCo, and now that he has the job, he's just sitting around munching away.[4]
When the Regional Phenomena ailing the Gorons is resolved, Barin goes back to mining to the delight of Tule. His goal is to strike the Rock Roast mother lode and have a lavish feast. Tule mirrors his enthusiasm, but misinterprets his want as for a "lava feast".
