The Mirror Shield is a shield with it's protective side covered in an extremely polished metal, giving the appearance of a mirror effect. An upgraded version of Links starting shield, the Mirror Shield can protect you where other shields can not.
Special Properties
The shield is extremely versatile. It can deflect magical attacks and zora fireballs with ease. In certain cases, it can even reflect enemy attacks. You can also use it to reflect beams of light.
Minish Cap
In The Minish Cap the Mirror Shield can only be obtained by killing Vaati in Dark Hyrule Castle. Also the Goron Sidequest must have been completed and a succesful Kinstone Fusion with the Goron on the far right. This will make Biggoron properly appear at the summit of Veil Falls. Next give Biggoron a Small Shield and he will start chewing it (ewww) after about 20 minutes of not having a shield go back to Veil Falls and Biggoron will give the Mirror Shield.
With the Mirror Shield in The Minish Cap it will reflect projectiles shot at you right back at the enemy with a cool light beam. Example, if an Octorok spat a rock at you while you were defending, it will automatically shoot back at your enemy.
