In ''Ocarina of Time'', Zora's River can be traveled to via [[Hyrule Field]]; on the east side there is a small stream that can crossed, following the path on the other side will lead [[Link]] right to Zora's River.

The first time Link comes here, [[Kaepora Gaebora]] will appear, and tell Link that in order to enter [[Zora's Domain]], he must play [[Zelda's Lullaby]]. Also, the [[Bean Seller]] is located just a little further away, and he will sell [[Magic Bean]]s for a rate that is 10 [[Rupee]]s higher than the last time. For example, the first time Link buys a Magic Bean it will cost 10 Rupees. The second time will be 20, then third 30, and so on.

Zora's River in ''Twilight Princess'' is used only to transport Link to [[Upper Zora's River]], which can be directly used to enter [[Zora's Domain]]. Link can travel up Zora's River by calling a [[Kargarok]] using the [[Hawk Grass]]. Link can also travel down the river by using [[Iza's Rapid Ride]].
