Withered Deku Babas are the first enemy [[Link]] encounters in the game. They are unable to damage him unless he purposely walks into them. They are notably weak enemies, requiring only a single sword slash that results in an instant death. When defeated, they typically drop a [[Deku Stick]]. They can be found in [[Kokiri Forest]] and [[Inside the Deku Tree]].

Withered Deku Babas in ''Majora's Mask'' appear in an identical fashion as they did within ''Ocarina of Time''. They can be found in [[Termina Field]], [[Southern Swamp]], and [[Woodfall Temple]]. Again, they can be easily defeated with virtually any weapon.
