The Water Medallion is received after completeing the water temple and killing Morpha. Princess Ruto and Link will appear in the same room. Princess Ruto then jokes around about being you wife and then finally awards you with the Water Medallion. Once this cut scene is complete navi will tell you to go to Kakariko Village, will you will start your quest for the next Medallion the Shadow Medallion.
