Personal Life and Zelda Life

I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio but recently transplanted to New York to attend university.

The Zelda series has been in my life ever since I was six years old. My first encounter with Zelda was playing Ocarina of Time.

I’m absolutely in love with the Zelda series. I started collecting Zelda items around 2011 when I realized I wanted to possess every game in its complete form. My collection focuses mostly on games, books, and soundtracks. After I acquired most of those, I decided that I needed something to hold everything. I looked online for a “how-to” on building a miniature Zelda chest. I took the measurements from that guide and multiplied all of them to come up with a giant wooden chest to house my collection.

I've been following Zelda Dungeon for years and I always wanted to help contribute. I thought I could contribute best by both showcasing my collection and other fans' collections to the Zelda community while also sharing my story and the stories of others in order to bring the Zelda community closer.

I started the Collection Spotlight segment. Collection Spotlight is a chance for Zelda fans to show their passion for our beloved man in green through the things we have collected and to talk a little bit about ourselves. Each post begins with a short introduction by me and then the rest of the post is written by the collector and then edited by me. After my introduction, authors usually introduce themselves, state their name, where they are from, how they got into Zelda, their favorite game, etc. After that, every item in each particular collection is listed out and then followed by pictures of the items.

I usually close the post with a "Collection Selection." This section is where I scour different sites on the internet to find a particular item that is available for purchase so readers can expand their collections. I've included such items like the Link plush, Master Sword replicas, and First4Figures.

You can check out the original Collection Spotlight post, which is also my collection. You can also check out all of the Collection Spotlights to see every collection that has been showcased on the site so far.
