Finding Level 1

Link's Sword

New Enemies:- Sand Crab, Spark, Keese (Blue), Goomba

Once you gain control of Link, walk two screens to the right (while avoiding Sand Crabs) and enter the cave there. Inside, head right, and then up. Pick up Link's Sword in here. You can slash the bushes in this cave for Arrows and recovery hearts. Leave this cave.

Outside; head left a screen, up two screens, left a screen, and up two screens to arrive at Oldera Village.

Bombs

New Enemies:- Stalfos

From the village entrance; head left a screen to see a cut scene with a ghost that want you to help her find her baby. Head left two screens, and enter the house there. Inside, you can buy Magic Scroll in here for 250 Arrows. You don't have enough Arrows yet, so just leave this house for now.

Head left again, and you'll find a Shop. You can but recovery heart for 10 Arrows, Magic Container for 30 Arrows, and Bomb for 60 Arrows. From this shop; head up a screen, and slash the bushes there to find a Bombs.

Piece of Heart #1

New Enemies:-Peahat, Keese (Red), Rope

Head right a screen, up a screen, right two screens, up a screen, and left a screen (through hidden path). Use a bomb on a bomb-able wall in the north-west, and make your way into the cave.

Inside; climb up the vines, and go up a screen. Step on a switch there, and return down. From here; head up a screen through lower path, and follow the path until you see a chest. Open that chest for a Piece of Heart #1, and leave this cave.
