Story
The Wind Waker starts by telling the tale of Ocarina of Time and the Great Flood. After Ganondorf is defeated, the Hero of Time disappears, never to be seen again. When evil rose, no one was present to face it, and Hyrule was flooded by the godesses to protect its people. We learn that on a certain island, when a boy comes of age, he is garbed in the clothing of the Hero of Time. Our story begins on Link's birthday, his coming of age.
