This is a header [[Template:Ambox|Ambox]] used for flagging a duplicate article.  It adds a notice and link to the destination article at the top of the article, and adds it to a category so it can easily be tracked by admins.

==Usage==
Place this template at the very top of an article (above any infoboxes, etc.), using '''<nowiki>{{Merge|Destination}}</nowiki>'''.  Replace "Destination" with the title of the destination article.

To define a custom description if the default doesn't correlate with the action to be taken, define a "desc" attribute instead of just the page title.
'''<nowiki>{{Merge|desc=}}</nowiki>'''

This is a duplicate or unnecessary article. Its content should be merged with the article "[[]]". If this has already been done, this article should be replaced by a redirect to said article or considered for deletion.

[Edit Documentation] This {{Ambox}} used for flagging a duplicate article. It adds a notice and link to the destination article at the top of the article, and adds it to Category:Articles to Merge so it can easily be tracked by admins.

Usage

Place {{Merge| destination }} at the top of the article, above any {{Infoboxes}} but below any {{Hatnotes}}.

  • destination — The title of the destination article.

If the page doesn't sort properly in categories, use {{Merge| cat= }} to specify a sort key.

To define a custom description if the default doesn't correlate with the action to be taken, define a "fix" attribute instead of just the page title. {{Merge| fix= }}

For example, {{Merge|fix=Its content should be merged with (this article) and (this article) as appropriate.}} becomes

This is a duplicate or unnecessary article. Its content should be merged with (this article) and (this article) as appropriate. If this has already been done, this article should be replaced by a redirect to said article or considered for deletion.
