Sols are shiny spheres that can be found within the Palace of Twilight in Twilight Princess. They can be placed oncertain pedestals where their power is used to create staircases, platforms, etc. Sols also have the ability to dispel the twilight fog that is abundant in the Twilight Realm. According to Midna, the Sol to the Twili is like the sun to Hylians.[1][2]
