The Silver Arrow is a recurring item in the Legend of Zelda series. It is mainly used to defeat Ganon in both games.

In The Legend of Zelda, Link can obtain the Silver Arrows in the final dungeon of the game, Death Mountain. It is needed to hurt and defeat Ganon, the final boss.
A Link to the Past
In A Link to the Past, these arrows are also needed to defeat Ganon. Link can upgrade it with the Bow in a fountain in the Pyramid of Power.
