This is for all the Ocarina of Time dungeons as a whole. It is a basic desciption of all of them together.

Spoiler Alert! This section describes a subject that is sensitive to plot development.

There are eight dungeons in Ocarina of Time. The Deku Tree, Dodongo's Cavern, and Jabu-Jabu's Belly are the three child dungeons. The Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, and Spirit Temples are the adult dungeons.

There are four child dungeons in this game. In each, you get an item which, like in the other games in the series, will be crucial to fighting the dungeon boss. It includes unique enemies in each area. You will receive three different Spiritual Stones, one for each dungeon.

There are seven adult dungeons in the game. In each, Link acquires a medallion. After pulling the Master Sword and being transported seven years into the future, he will automatically receive the Light Medallion. He will receive the remaining five-Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, and Spirit-as he beats each temple boss.
