Given its colder climate, it is suggested that Link wear armor with Cold Resistance, such as the Snowquill Set. The northeast portion of the area is under perpetual snowfall. The area is filled with snow based enemies, with Ice-Breath Lizalfos fairly common throughout the area.

Along the slope just north of the Madorna Mountain, there is an ice block at a lower elevation. Melt it with a fire based weapon or Fire Arrow to find a Korok.

The Tahno O'ah Shrine can be found near a small group of trees at the east side of the Lanayru Range. The shrine is part of the Secret of the Cedars shrine quest, where Link can follow the three cedar tress atop the peaks at the adjacent Madorna Mountain. If Link follows these trees eastward, they point in the direction right where the bombable wall is, leading to the Tahno O'ah Shrine. The shrine itself is just a blessing shrine, where Link will acquire the Climbing Boots.

Tears of the Kingdom
The Lanayru Range consists of the area between Mount Lanayru and Madorna Mountain. It's brutally cold climate requires Link to have multiple levels of Cold Resistance in order to survive.

The Lanayru Range North area can be found just northeast of Mount Lanayru, highlighted by the Frost Talus in the region.

At the south end of the range, there is an enemy camp with four Blue Lizalfos and a pair of Aerocudas. At the top of the camp there is a chest that has a Blue-Maned Lynel Reaper.
