Lanayru (Light Spirit)

Lanayru is one of the Light Spirits that appear in Twilight Princess. This spirit protects Lanayru Province and resides in Lanayru Spring. The name of this spirit is a reference to Nayru, the goddess of wisdom.
He also appears in Skyward Sword as the Thunder Dragon watching over the same province. He uses his electricity to power the robots. When you first see him, he is sick and cannot sing his part of the Song of the Hero. His robots try to grow the tree of life so he will get better. Once Link gets the tree to grow, he'll feel better and can sing his part. He also runs the boss-replay game. If you beat all 8 bosses, he'll reward you with the Hylian Shield. If you beat a lesser number of bosses he'll reward you with rupees, a piece of heart, or other goodies.
