Japas is a character in Majora's Mask who is the guitarist player in the famous Zora band The Indigo-Go's.
Japas and his fellow band-partner Mikau compose songs together, while their band-partner Evan is jealous whenever they jam together without him. Japas and Mikau sooner or later finds a good tune that everyone gets interested in and are expecting a grand performance by them. Japas becomes unsure about Evan, him becoming jealous, and asks himself and Mikau what they should do. He then has a thought of Mikau playing it for Evan. Link has to be himself, in order for Evan to not be jealous and upset of them. Evan will like the song and claims to have created it himself before rewarding Mikau with a Piece of Heart.

- When you meet Japas in his room, he'll be playing the tune to the dungeon theme from the original The Legend of Zelda.
