It's first usage is in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]''.  One of the exceptions to this rule are the Gerudo.  The Gerudo usually are given a bad reputation considering Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time was one, and in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]'', the Gerudo are thieves.  Whether or not Gerudo are Hyrulian is disputable.

Hyrulean is a term used to describe any person, regardless of race, age, or gender, who resides in the Kingdom of Hyrule. It's first usage is in Ocarina of Time. One of the exceptions to this rule are the Gerudo. The Gerudo usually are given a bad reputation considering Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time was one, and in Majora's Mask, the Gerudo are thieves. Whether or not Gerudo are Hyrulian is disputable.
