"You got the Hook Beetle! The big pincers enable you to pick up and carry things with it!" The Hook Beetle is an upgraded form of the Beetle but now with the addition of the ability to carry certain items, such as bombs which then can be dropped on enemies.
The Hook Beetle can be obtained in the Lanayru Desert, and is upgraded for free from an Ancient Robot.
