A Guardian Scout IV has 3,000 HP and wields 3 ++ swords. When killed it can drop an Ancient Spring, Ancient Screw, Ancient Gear, Ancient Core, Ancient Shaft or a combination of those. To defeat these monsters, you should bring in a very powerful weapon and/or bow. My favorite tactic is to freeze them with an Ice Arrow and hit them with the Thunderblade, dealing triple damage.
