Epona's combat system was completely revamped for Twilight Princess. Not only is Link able to use his Bow while on Epona like in previous games, but also other weapons, including his Sword. However, he is not invincible in this game. Notable horseback battles include the two against King Bulblin and a final one against Ganon.
