Line 1: Line 1:
The Eastern Palace makes it's first appearance in A Link To The Past. It holds as the first dungeon in the game and is where Link finds his first Pendant in order to get the Master Sword. The Dungeon's obstacles aren't to complicated, but can be overwhelming at first. The first major obstacle in particular is the room with the dark balls coming down the corridor, with some of them appearing bigger than others. Link has to carefully avoid the balls coming at him, this same obstacle is shown deeper in the dungeon. With balls appearing all around the room this time. Eyegore,(aka. Rocklops) make their first appearance here, and make a rough challenge for a player who isn't well experienced with dealing with these monsters. The main item is the Bow, which is located near the center of the dungeon in a large room which is filled with Stalfos, and Link will need to defeat the six Eyegores in order to progress to the dungeon's boss. At the end of the Palace, Link will be faced against six Armos Knights for the Pendant of Courage and a Heart Container. ( Just like the Heart Containers dropped by the bosses in the game, Link must collect the Pendant to progress.)

Upon completing the Palace, Sahasrahla will inform Link more about the Master Sword and the Knights of Hyrule, and will encourage Link to search for the remaining pendants so that the Blade of the Evil's Bane can be obtained ( notes that the remaining pendants are marked on the map as well). He'll also give Link the Pegasus Boots.
The Eastern Temple is the third and final stage of Eastern Hyrule, the second level in Four Swords Adventures.
