Cue Ball's first appearance is in the fourth [[dungeon]] of ''Link's Awakening''. It is found in a room filled with shallow water. Cue Ball is a very simple enemy; its only attack is to charge at [[Link]], travelling in a rectangular manner around the room. It may randomly change directions in order to hit Link. To defeat it, Link must hit its back, which is its weak point. He can use the [[Pegasus Boots]] to catch up with it and attack it with his [[sword]]. Another option is to jump over it when it heads toward Link with [[Roc's Feather]] and hit its back before it has the chance to turn around.
