The '''Cucco Lady''', also known as the '''Chicken Lady'''{{Ref|OOT|596|[[Gossip Stone]]}}, makes her appearances in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'' and ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap|The Minish Cap]]'' as the Cucco Keeper. In ''Ocarina of Time'', the Cucco Lady's parallel character in [[Termina]] is [[Anju]], the innkeeper of [[Stock Pot Inn]], in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]''.

In the past, the Cucco Lady stays near her Cucco Pen in [[Kakariko Village (Ocarina of Time)|Kakariko Village]], asking [[Link (Ocarina of Time)|Link]] to help her find the seven [[Cucco]]s around town. Once Link brings back all seven, she rewards the young hero with an [[Bottle|Empty Bottle]]. In the future, she participates in the [[Ocarina of Time Biggoron's Sword Trading Sequence|Trading Sequence]]. She actually starts it, by giving Link the [[Pocket Egg]], which will eventually hatch and turn into the [[Pocket Cucco]], which Link can use to awake the sleeping [[Talon]] inside one of the homes. After bringing the Pocket Cucco back to the Cucco Lady, she will say that the cucco looks very happy, and thus she decides to give Link [[Cojiro]], a blue cucco. She mentions it's her [[Master Craftsman's Son|brother's]], and that it has not crowed in awhile. Link can now bring Cojiro to him, who can be found in the [[Lost Woods]]. He will thank Link, and give him the [[Odd Mushroom]].

In ''The Minish Cap'', the Cucco Lady, named Anju, takes care of Cucco and Cucco chicks. [[Link (Ocarina of Time)|Link]] is able to fuse [[Kinstone|Green Kinstones]] with her at various points of the game.

Anju makes an appearance in The Minish Cap Manga. After Link escapes [[Candy]], a young girl who, thinking he is a [[Minish|Picori]], tries to capture him, he finds himself on Anju's Cucco farm. [[Ezlo]] is overjoyed when Anju gives the Cucco chicks food, telling Link to leave now that the Cuccos are distracted. However, Link is stepped on by Anju on accident.

*The [[Master Craftsman]], the boss of the [[Carpenters]], says in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'' that lazy-pale looking boy is his [[Master Craftsman's Son|Son]]. If so, the Cucco Lady would be his daughter.
