Link can obtain the Bug Medal by purchasing it from [[Beedle's Air Shop]] after he has bought the [[Bug Net]]. When Link approaches it, [[Beedle]] explains that when Link carries the medal, he is able to see where [[bugs]] are found on the map and describes it as a necessity if he likes catching bugs.
