The boomerang is a classic Zelda item, appearing in almost every title in some shape or form. It works by returning to you after being thrown every time, making it very versatile. ==Phantom Hourglass==
In Phantom Hourglass, Link receives the Boomerang in the first temple, the temple of fire. Instead of just launching the Bomerang as in previous Zeldas, the player must draw a line on the screen of the Nintendo DS, Boomerang and anger following the same route of the line. If a torch is out and is next to a lighted torch, a link can route the torch lit and then extinguished the torch and it will cause the boomerang catch fire and ignite the torch. This is one of several features that Boomegang can do in this game.
