Blade Trap is an inanimate enemy first introduced in The Legend of Zelda. Its only 3D appearance was in Ocarina of Time.

These traps were held in the corner of some rooms in dungeons. If Link were to get in the path of them, they'd fly towards him until they hit each other, then retracted.
