The Big Green Rupee is a variety of rupee, the currency of Hyrule. Due to its enhanced size, it is worth much more than a regular Green Rupee and are harder to find.

Four Swords and The Minish Cap

In Four Swords and The Minish Cap, the Big Green Rupee is worth 50 rupees; it can be found in treasure chests or won as prizes.

Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks

In the two Zelda titles for Nintendo DS, Big Green Rupees are worth 100. As usual, they can be found in treasure chests, won as prize, or, on occasion in Phantom Hourglass, they can be dug up with the Shovel.
