Dan Owsen: Difference between revisions

Owsen came to fame in the Zelda theory community after statements he made during an [[Interview:Total RPG February 22nd 1999|Interview]] in February of 1999, where he stated that ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'' was the [[Imprisoning War]] that was mentioned in the backstory from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past|A Link to the Past]]''. In the same interview, he had stated that the text on the back of the box for ''A Link to the Past'' was incorrect and that ''A Link to the Past'' took place after the events of ''[[The Legend of Zelda]]'' and ''[[Zelda II: The Adventure of Link|The Adventure of Link]]''. However, when the [[Timeline|Zelda Timeline]] was revealed as part of [[The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia|Hyrule Historia]], it became clear that Owsen was incorrect and the information on the back of the ''A Link to the Past'' box was in fact correct.
