Silver Lynel are the most lethal of all the Lynels in Breath of the Wild, they are bolstered by Ganons evil magic like the other silver variations of enemies like the Silver Moblin, Lizalfos and Bokoblin. Usually mistaken as a White-Maned Lynel, although the color pattern on the silver one is inverted from the White-Maned Lynel. One is easily found in the Coliseum Ruins south-south-west of the Central Tower. They have a chance to drop Star Fragments.
Strategy
It has the same moveset as the White-Maned Lynel, although it does a lot more damage, watch out if he roars, he'll charge up and do an explosive attack in a very wide area around him, best strategy is to just run as fast as you can away or get a quick headshot to cancel the attack, if it hits it will most likely kill you outright. Best bet to take one down is to have a lynel bow and a lot of arrows, just keep shooting it in the head until it dies, most of his attacks are charge attacks that can be canceled if you hit him in the head. Trying to shoot a Lynel from a distance is usually a very poor idea, he will shoot elemental arrows at you, usually lightning, and they do a lot of damage, if more than one projectile hits at once, you might die outright on the spot. In summary, damage boost, lynel bow and shoot in head until dead.
