As part of [[The Champions' Ballad]] DLC, a story is told in [[Daruk's Training Journal]] where Link encounters an out of control [[Guardian (Breath of the Wild)|Guardian]]. During a test, the Guardian lost control and started to shoot out deadly beams. Link grabbed a nearby Pot Lid and performed a [[Perfect Guard]], deflecting the beam back at the Guardian, defeating it.
