Shadow Insects are small insects that inhabit Twilight in Twilight Princess. These small yet agile bugs house Tears of Light. There are fifteen tears, meaning fifteen Shadow Insects per realm of Twilight. Shadow Insects are invsible to the naked eye, and can only be seen with the use of senses. Wolf Link can use his senses to locate and obliterate the bugs in order to obtain each Tear of Light.
