Red Beetles are enemies from The Minish Cap.[1] They are one of two variants of the Beetle that appear in The Minish Cap, along with Black Beetle.
The Minish Cap
Red Beetles appear during the boss battle with Mazaal in the Fortress of Winds. They will drop from the ceiling and are nearly identical to their Black Beetle counterpart. When encountered, they will jump up and try to stick to Link. When a Red Beetle attaches itself to Link, it won't actually deal any damage, but it will cause Link to move slower and make him unable to swing his sword. Repeatedly press B to throw the beetle off. Red Beetles can be defeated with a single sword slash.

Appear in various areas. They appear under rocks and grass. If they grab you, you won't be able to move. Swing your sword to get away. |
