The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (commonly shortened to SNES, or just Super Nintendo; known as the Super Famicom in Japan) is the second home gaming console made by Nintendo to be released internationally. It used a 16-bit processor, and was greatly improved graphically over the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Games
Only one Zelda game was released internationally for the SNES: A Link to the Past. However, several games were released for the Japan-only Satellaview accessory.
