Notes

  • This is a licensed fruit snacks and was marketed by Thomas J. Lipton Co. in 1989.[1]
  • The box design was made to resemble Zelda II: The Adventure of Link box-art.
  • The box also features a Triforce of Wisdom door tag on the back, and few original artworks on the side.
  • Each box contain 6 fruit snack packs.
  • Beside The Adventure of Link, there are two other Nintendo's Fruit Snacks; Super Mario Bros themed and Super Mario 3 themed Fruit Snacks.
  • The snacks are probably most well know these days for their promotions at Nintendo events in the 90's. Attendees were given the chance to make their own 'music video' for a pre-made rap song.[2]
  • This is an extreme rarity, and recently it box appears to have sold for $375.00 on auction website.[3]
