The Second Quest is an altered version of the First Quest of The Legend of Zelda featuring a similar map of the original Hyrule with various swapped locations of various items, caverns, upgraded enemies, altered dungeons, and other events. The dungeon locations themselves are also changed, further promoting new exploration. You have to finish the game (the first quest) to get the Second Quest. When you enter zelda as name when you start a new game you get to the second quest immediately.

In The Wind Waker, Link begins the game like normal, though he stays in his Pajamas throughout the entire game. Only when the game comes to an end and Link deals the final blow to Ganondorf can the Hero's Clothes be seen as they were in the original play through. Link starts with the Deluxe Pictobox and the Nintendo Gallery remains in its previous completion. All characters that spoke Hylian now are translated, such as Valoo or Jabun. Aryll starts with her skull dress. You can rename your file. Finally, the locations of treasure from treasure charts are farther away from the islands.
