Prior to the events of the game, Ganon breaks the taboo of the [[Gerudo Tribe|Gerudo]] and explores the [[Desert Pyramid]], eventually stealing the [[Trident]] and the [[Dark Mirror]]. He uses the Trident's power to transform into Ganon, along with using the power of the Dark Mirror to create [[Shadow Link]].
