 There have been some changes made to the gameplay, such as the addition of the [[Swift Sail]],{{Ref|name=e3}} which will allow for faster sailing. Additionally, the [[Tingle Tuner]] has been replaced by the [[Tingle Bottle]], which allows users to post messages on Miiverse, directly from the game.

+- A [[Hero Mode]] has been added, causing enemies to do twice the damage, and [[heart]]s can only be regenerated by [[potions]], soups, etc.
+- The [[Swift Sail]] has been added. This new item allows you to go faster than the with the normal sail, and it " always has wind in it" meaning you wont have to change wind directions. It can be obtained at the [[Auction house]] anytime after completing the first dungeon. This is an optional item, meaning you do not have to acquire it to progress within the game.
+- The [[Triforce Quest]] has been made less tedious. You can acquire the first five pieces directly, with three remaining. These remaining three will need to be acquired in the traditional way of finding a [[Triforce Chart]], having it translated, and following the map to the [[Triforce]] piece.
