 The Gilded Sword features a golden blade with a metal frame, leaving three diamond shapes exposing the gold; The grip features the same design (albeit with a red frame), and the sword also features a metal pommel and an ornate, bent cross-guard. In addition, the Gilded Sword will not break after a certain number of slashes or when playing the [[Song of Time]], making the upgrade permanent.
