*In order to completely avoid being frozen by Naydra on a close encounter, Link must be wearing clothes with the Unfreezable armor bonus, namely, the ★★+ enhanced Snowquill Set and Zant's Helmet. No other set or armor part will have such property, nor any meal or elixir will award it.

While the Hyrule Compendium description of Naydra continues to refer to the dragon as "It", when beginning the Goddess Statue of Wisdom quest, the Goddess Statue in the Spring of Wisdom refers to Naydra with feminine pronouns.
Route
Naydra flies out of the Depths to the Surface through the Naydra Snowfield Chasm, east past Mount Lanayru, then turns south-west to Retsam Forest and Kitano Bay. It then passes around Ebon Mountain, over the Stinger Cliffs, east of the Meda Mountain Chasm, north to Oakle's Navel, then north-west to Bonooru's Stand before diving into the East Hill Chasm.
In the Depths, Naydra flies a more northerly path in the opposite direction, passing close to the wall under the Rutala River, coming close to Takaruk Lightroot and Uogot Lightroot on the way.
