==Nintendo Famicom==
The Famicom, short for "family computer", was the Japanese version of the NES. It was released in 1983. Many more addons for the Famicom than the NES were released, including a tape drive for saving games, a [[Famicom Disk System|floppy disk drive]], and a keyboard for use with a BASIC interpreter. The Famicom's controller contained a microphone that could be used in gameplay; the [[Pols Voice]] in ''The Legend of Zelda'' was affected by the player blowing into the microphone.
