Once the Lanmolas fly out of the ground, Link can hit the head of each Lanmola. Each Lanmola can be defeated when Link deals six hits by the Sword to them. Once Link defeats two Lanmolas, the third Lanmola will shoot out rocks in eight directions instead of four.
