| }}The thieves of Hyrule can be found mostly in the Lost Woods area, in both the Light World and Dark World. Some run chance games, some will rush you in an attempt to steal your items, and some will give you their items if you find them in their caves. The Storytelling Creature (Strange Creature) that looks like a hand was a thief and will tell you about a former thief that is very good at picking locks. He says, ''"Heh heh. Thank you. To tell you the truth, I used to be a thief in the Light World... some of my fellow thieves went into hiding because they were afraid of being caught. One of them was a master locksmith, but now he is hiding the fact that he was a thief... by pretending to be a strange middle-aged guy! Ha ha ha..."''
